in ireland i dropped onto the soft grass for a rest after hanging out with a seaweed forager–some guy who pickles the stuff. a beautiful site & the grass was like down. sometimes i can’t believe how lucky i am, especially when i see things like the grey ocean pressing itself up against emerald mossy banks. i would have liked to have seen my lover’s skin mixing with the colors there, and see the hairs across his arms catching the ocean mist.

i believe people and life are to be engaged with, not consumed. i’m terribly undisciplined at times and i get caught up by my dark moods. sometimes i’m so inspired i feel like i’ll burst. when i think i’m going to get into trouble, i work like a dog. people say i make them laugh, that i’m a picky eater, that i have too much information in my head. my mom says i’m very serious. mostly i feel like i’m riding a wave of mystery and that i’m getting no where.
